Small putter heads
« on: April 28, 2013, 02:56:10 AM »
I know all the rage is for larger putter heads like Adam Scot played at Augusta but they are just not for me. I recently purchased a Bettinardi 3/4 size putter which, I find
easier to align on the shorter putts. Maybe still on the honeymoon period but does anyone else us a smaller head size? Maybe smaller is better. Pictures are on putter glare post if interested.

Maybe smaller is better.
Have you convinced your significant other of that yet?

I used to have a Miura KM-350 for awhile.  Lagged awesome with it but couldn't make a short putt to save my ass.  I liked the little thing though.

Always loved the look of the KM-350, but heel shafted putters just are not the best for my stroke.

I've always putted with blade putters and the Miura blade has caught my eye.  Heel shafted works for me because that's what I learned growing up.

You're not the first person I've head mention that making short putts with a smaller putter is tough.

I love my Miura KM-350. That style of putter has been a revelation to me as I never thought it would suit my eye at all

I'm all for what works best as I think the Putter is the most Personal of all the Golf clubs.  It has to look good when
looking down at it.

What ever inspires confidence is the best Putter.  Having said that the KM- 350 was too small for me just as the big
mallets don't do it either.  I think once you are used to a particular shape it's hard to change even tho my GF likes
my big one the best.....
