Like I already wrote you, but maybe other want to hear it as well:
had this happen a couple of times as well. Could be the glue is not breaking at a certain temperature, but if you are using a torch too, I don't think this is it.
A friend brought me a set of Miuras and the previous builder did a horrendous job. He didn't know Miuras have a little more material in the hosel that needs to be drilled out / reamed before the first build. (They do it to prevent rusting, I think) The builder just rammed the shafts in, needless to say, they only got down half the way they should, be he didnīt seem to care. Couldnīt move these suckers out, the PW took me about 20 minutes and some serious sweat.
Other possibility: They used pliers to deformate the tip a little, that way the shaft will already sit very tight without glue. Never understood why this is done, as glueing in is perfectly fine, but I had this happen a couple of times. A LOT harder to pull these suckers.
When one of the above happened, there really was no other chance then to use a good shaft puller, heat and muscles ... I pulled everything of the above, even though I sometimes wanted to throw them away, because it was nerve wrecking.
If you want me to pull it for you, just send it over with the stuff I bought from you.
