Buying Service Gripe

One of the major reasons why shipping cost have gone up.  Using a bigger box bumps the volumetric cost to the next tier.  To be fair, I've not received any order damaged in transit.  Well, they are shipping companies after all...

I’d rather have it overpacked than shipped with no real box or interior padding... but I understand your frustration.

I bought a St.Croix Fishing Rod this summer through Amazon,  came just in the plastic bag with a label on it.  Damaged of course!  Extremes!

I bought a rod from Tackle Warehouse and it came in a full length 7' 10" hard cardboard tube.  I was so happy to see that it was well packed and no damage.

The second and third rods I bought direct from St. Croix and they each came in the invincible cardboard tube!  Never again Amazon with fishing rods!  They did replace it with no issue...

Would think it impossible to even attempt to send a fishing rod with no packaging. And usually Amazon packages stuff pretty well. Mine have always come in the cardboard tubes when purchased online. Usually from The Tackle Trap.

I have found Rinkya is pretty easy to work with on golf gear if you aren’t in a hurry. I have several clubs sitting in their warehouse and am getting more so I can fill a box full for same rate as shipping one club.
