What a crazy year this has been on so many different counts. Been spending more time dicking around with my clubs than actually playing.
Anyways, wanted to get these squared away today. Hybrid day.
Decided to get back a Ryoma 18 and got one with the Beyond Power shaft. I swear, I don't know what the rave was about the Beyond Power shaft. Even the guy I bought this from said the BP shaft is the magic in this club. Hmm... not for me... Was really light and even I will call it a wet noodle. So in goes a Crazy Boron Two Tree.
Next up are my 2 Itobori Hybrids. In these lofts, these are still maybe the best hybrids around. Long, forgiving, feels good and sounds good. The Ryoma UTs are long and forgiving but sound and feel like crap. I had the Crazy STP UT70 in them. Great shafts but I decided to try the Crime of Angel Beretta U-294 hybrid shafts. Got some nice 90T action going on. Very very smooth and easy playing shafts.
All 3 have XROZ grips on them. Extremely good, durable grips and reusable.
So I hope 2020 wasn't all too bad for all and while the current problems will undoubtedly carry over to 2021, it should progressively start to get better... I hope. Have a better 2021 all and stay safe.
