Driver head with toe forgiveness
« on: December 31, 2020, 02:53:55 AM »
I have a tendency to toe the driver.

I'm looking for a head design that would provide forgiveness in such cases. Equivalent in USDM world is the Taylormade Sim. My current PXG 0811X is not helping.

Any equivalent in JDM?

Hey Tom,

Long time. Trust all well.

Of my 4 drivers left, I would say toe forgiveness on the Design Tuning IDV and the Ryoma Max II are very good. I tend to miss low on the face but when I do toe, I find these 2 extremely forgiving in that distance loss is minimal and dispersion (shaft has a role too) is not bad.

Hey !!
Indeed, long time no speak - I'm back in France since last summer...
Same issue for me... AoA +4 on the trackman, +10 club path... But still hooking.
If I dont pay attention, I put the ball toom much fwd in the stance, hence the results.. Fore left and low/toe on the face. Shaft tested was Fujikura XLR8 61 and Vylyn 65s

I tend to miss toe side sometimes and having read a bunch of old reviews lately I came across a lot of praise for Epon 153 and 105 for toe forgiveness
