Mizuno JPX 200x

Has anyone tried the JPX 200X irons? In terms of forgiveness, where would they be in the 921 lineup?

I've not tried this but looking at the design which has a large gooseneck, thick top line, what looks to be a cavity slot and super strong loft (PW 39* WTF!), it has all the makings of a SGI head so forgiveness should be up there at least in design intention.

Yes, the lofts are almost as bad as the T400 or the Yamaha UD +2, that's why I am wondering where they fit.

Although, looking at it, since they have also increased the shaft length by one club, one could really just play them as a club longer (e.g. the 7 as a 6), and then they're slightly less lofted than the 921 Hot Metal.

Could be interesting.

They look to be a direct competitor to the T400 which I think had the largest short irons of any iron Iíve ever set down by a ball. Therefore making it more extreme than the hot metal series which are actually fairly svelte by modern standards.
