What winter? 2020 bag is on the horizon
« on: March 04, 2020, 09:36:16 PM »
Since we have had such a nothing winter, although quite a bit of rain, I have started my acquisitions for the 2020 season.  In looking through the current offerings I am left a little underwhelmed, there does not seem to be much on new on the design front.  Some slightly different cnc patterns on the cavities or muscles but the basic designs.  Am I missing something?

Here is what I think will be the basic set up:
Roddio Compact Deep
Roddio UTs if I can find them used, possibly Proceed or Mystery
Considering PRGR Tune 01CB, Yamaha 020 RMX or O'rion Closer combo set
O'rion wedges

Looks like a good setup. Our winter has been quite mild as well although not so much as to allow golf. I agree that there hasnít been a whole lot of exciting new gear.

Either I'm too old and been ho'ing too long or everyone is just using standard blanks and having fun with CAD and CNC.

Waiting for the 3D printed SUS irons to start coming out in a few years...

My winter fairways don't look like this.
And neither do my summer fairways.

On the PC front, not a huge fan of Pocket Cavity.  Still have the Epon Personal 3 in NOS condition. I considered the CC but am already gaming the Roddio muscle backs from a couple of years ago.  While I love the fit and finish, can't say I want to spend on major CNC work when I am going to be dragging it through the grass and soil.

Thanks for the offer on the Utes, I will hold off on purchases until Matt confirms his enjoyment.
