It doesn't say much else about the rest of the shaft.. I believe the mesh is to stiffen and stabilize the shaft which may help with dispersion?  I would have thought it would help lower torque as well but the number don;t suggest that.  Would have been good to see the use of 80/90T and torray etc in addition to the mesh.

These aren't as expensive as my iron shafts, so no interest here....

The higher torque with steel reinforcement actually appealed to me because I’m wanting less stress on joints but steel like performance. Granted this is basically the same marketing story as MCI and I didn’t get along great with the S flex in those but was thinking of going 125 X soft stepped once.

I like composite shafts mainly for ease of getting my swingweight preference right. Incorporating steel in the tip obviously adds a bit of weight to the tip. Lowering the torque can easily be made with higher grade carbon 80/90t. I may order a set of these to try.

I went ahead and took my Mizunos into the shop and told them to put the 105 S in the 3i HMB, 105x (113g) in the 4-6 HMB SSx1, and 125x in the 7-SW SSx1.

Shafts supposed to be in next week...not in any big hurry as we’ve had pretty much zero weather conducive to golf since October.

Keep us posted, and obviously post some pics of the combo.

Sure will. Sometimes we get lucky in December and get a day or two to golf. Hitting them indoors is one thing but I am most anxious to see the ball flight.

Playing these in a set of blueprints, currently have the 105s in them and a set of 125TX but no heads for them. Also have a set of blueprints with MCI 100S Black and a set of blueprints with MCI 100X Black. Love all 3 of them so I cant quite tell.  If I had a chance to pick up a set of MMT 115 SX ( not available ) I would.

1.) Blueprints w/ MCi Black 100 S : very nice high launch yet it does well into the wind, super easy to load and doesn't get overloaded.

2.) Blueprints w/ MCi Black 100X : mid high launch and super tight, even soft stepped once, they still feel very tight, I cant hook these very easily unless I pull hook my shots.  Perfect shaft for when im feeling very good and its warm out and breezy.

3.) Blueprints w/ MMT 105S : Mid height and the easiest to load, seems to lose a bit of feel on the short irons but its probably because im used to a heavier swing weight.

4.) MMT 105TX , not even sure if I want to shaft these, if u are interested in a new uncut set for a "discount", PM me ...haha but if u want the ridiculous JDMCH cheap bastard pricing, don't waste your breath
