Shimada and Oban
« on: October 23, 2019, 07:17:44 PM »
I believe  the Oban CT shafts are made by or based on Shimada iron shafts. Does anyone know what Shimada shafts would be closest to the CT115?

Thanks!

Randy

Weight wise, K's Tour 115, but the steps on the shaft are different. Here are two posts that compare both.

Thanks; Iíd given those posts a read. Itís pretty easy to get a set of Shimadas for considerably less $ than the Obans, but Iím just not sure which Shimada model would be closest to the Obans. I think the Obans are constant weight (could be wrong on this); the Shimada constant weight model seems substantially lighter.

You must be talking about green label shafts distributed in Europe and USA...
These are the ones I have, and they weight 115g https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/golftheory/item/kss-tr115-6p/
Bought from that shop many times, so don't hesitate.
