PVD coating on Golf shafts?

Does or as anyone else noticed that these coatings, ie:PVD on C-Taper golf shafts actually make them play stiffer than flex?

Didn't notice it so far. Have a set of satin C-Taper Lite and a black one ... to me they feel pretty much the same. But they are installed on different heads, so its hard to tell.

Sounds like you are not really happy with your shafts in the PXGs. :(
If you decide t let the C-Taper Lites go, let me know. I might be interested in another set.

Waiting on PXG tomorrow, see if they can fix this or notate PXG taper tip?

I had the $-Taper with the black finish. Didn't think they were any stiffer than the build suggested.
Driver: TM Original One 11.5° + Tensei CK Pro Blue 80tx.
HY: Ping G400 17° + Oban White 95x.
DI:  Epon 903 20 & 23 + OTi120x
Irons: Epon AF-Tour MB 5i - PW + OTi120x
Wedges: Epon 208 KGX 53°/59° + OTi110x.
Putter: SeeMore SB1 + Accra FX300.

The PX smoke green shafts I have are sporting the PVD finish. Looks cool, can’t say what impact it has on performance or feel or how it’ll hold up

D, I'm not factually sure but the coatings should not impact flex at all as they aren't very thick layers to begin with.
