I did NOT have it tipped because I wanted at least a chance of hitting it off the deck.
FWIW I like the Smoke Green way better than the TZ5. I also tried TZ6 which I liked better than the TZ5. I was just sure the Accra’s were going to work for me and I really wanted them to because 1) I spent the money on them and 2) They’re wonderful looking shafts but the Smoke Green was just more consistent for me and my short compact swing. I thought the TZ5 felt a little numb and boardy. The TZ6 had a little more feel and launch.
I have overcome my disdain and skepticism of the Px line of graphite shafts. They just consistently work for me across all my woods. There’s a reason they’ve become so popular. They use premium fibers and have a huge range of bend profiles to suit all golfers. I now have the Smoke Green in Driver and OO and Evenflow White T1100 in my 5 wood. They all take the left side out for me, are consistent, and feel great at impact.
