Augusta
« on: April 18, 2019, 04:54:22 AM »
Not sure if this has been asked here and probably a silly question...

How does one get on to play at Augusta? Only as a members guest or?

Thanks

As far as I know , thatís the only way for us but even the member has to be kind of a caution for the guest

Or win the masters and you can come without being a member :)

They guarantee that you will behave like you should and they can loose their membership if not.
Itís the same in every private club here .
So to be sure they donít have problems, theyíre not inviting anyone

Has to be with a member.  And the course is closed late spring and doesn't open until the fall.

Tough get Augusta, my buddy played it with a member and one of the members at my club was a greens keeper there and got his member member partner on it.  Probably easier to get a round out of local than a member, a guy who worked for me played it through his dad who runs a motel near the course.  The members are not just rich but powerful...
