Who's gonna try it? I like the looks, sole and crown, yellow or white not a problem.

With the right shaft I'm sure it would perform as good as what I have...still would never buy it...

Cobra makes good drivers but this thing looks like PlaySkool or Fisher Price made it. No offense to people who like that kind of thing.

It's so fing cold it will be months before I get to try it.

Probably wouldn't have bought one if I wasn't relegated to on line golf forums for my golf fix.

Hit a few balls indoor with it on flightscope today. Head and shaft combo definitely not a fit for me (too high loft, reg Atmos blue), but I just wanted to try it. Literally walked into the store from outside around 0°C and hit like 5 balls with it. So no warm up. Didn't hit a single one out of the center and swing felt like shit. Low heel, high toe. You name it. Was super impressed with dispersion though. If I put that kind of swing with my own driver, it will be going 40 yards offline😂. But not with the Cobra. Everything kinda holds it's line pretty well. I don't think they will be any longer than my current setup but more accurate. I think that is what the new drivers are all about. Not longer but straighter. Will be testing it some more once the weather allows for it.

Today I tried the F9 9.0. Very limited on shaft choice unfortunately. Had the Hzrdus Smoke 60g stiff. After warming up with mine I then tried then tried the F9, which we had to loft down to 7.5 as my launch was waaaay to high. I immediately noticed how much heavier (D7) my driver was, and this equated to more ball speed for the F9 as I swung it a little faster. The F9 also had more distance and very slightly better dispersion too. It didn't feel as good or sound as good as mine though.
I then asked to try a 3w (70g) version of the smoke shaft and to bring the swing weight back I suggested he put another heavy weight in the head, so that was two 16g weights. Holy shit was the dispersion good. I've never been so tight (*). This made the head 'feel' softer because I was hitting the middle more and it was also slightly quieter, more of a thud at impact. The pro suggested that we take this head and shaft combo out on to the course next week to see if I can match the indoor LM  numbers in the real world.
I might be getting an F9...... 😈
