Miura WMF-06 wedges

A quick review of these superb Miura wedges. These hit the market in 2012 I believe. I picked up a 53/58 set.

Looks: Without a doubt some of the best looking wedges. Love the satin/Champagne finish. They frame the ball beautifully.

Feel/sound: Not the softest like a Epon 508/Royal Collection DB, which was a surprise for me as the Miuras have a copper underlay. I was hoping for marshmallow soft but these have a slightly firmer solid feel to them, similar to Mizuno T7.

Playability: Definitely the most comfortable I've been when opening the face on the 58. So easy to flop. Easier than a Callaway PM grind which I think is a great wedge. Must be the cut out at the back of the face/sole. I didn't manage to get any shots to back up, so not the spinniest for me. Great on full shots but not on little chips pitches. From 20yds or so with a forward press I seemed to catch them a little thin, so I tended to open the face a little and give it a bigger swing. Super easy, flop flop flop.

I have a large distance gap between my PW(46) and the 53, so I could do with a 48/49/50 wedge.......and amazingly I think I've found a WMF-06 in a very rare 49!! I will probably weaken the lofts so that I have 46(pw) 50/54/58 :)
Driver: OnOff Type-S 9 + House of Forged Platinum, 45".
FW: Callaway GBB 16 + FEX 75x, 42".
HY: OnOff Prospec 21 + Roddio i-8, 40".
Irons: OnOff Forged 5i - PW + Accra Tour 110 TiMesh.
Wedges: Miura Giken WMF-06 49/53/58 + Black Gold x.
Putter: Rife Barbados.
