Mystery MC-12MF
« on: April 12, 2018, 09:55:36 AM »
I believe these are a recent release from Mystery.

Made in Himeji.  with S25C in Arakenma finish.
They also milled the face for precise flatness to improve feel and control at impact.

To me they very much resemble the KYOEI MBs except for the toe shape and sole grind.
Previous Mystery MBs had funky looking back face design but this one I like.   nice and clean!

sort of ot/but sort of not....

for those that have hit mystery what are you thoughts? my never ending quest for find a FW is ramping up again. I am playing the original a grind FW in 14*, I really like the original crazy fw, but can not find a brand new one in 14*..

a grind has a new one with the bx-f fw, and baldo has the new ttx....

i prefer a more deeper faced fw...there abroad, justick/proceed with the new titanium fw...

anyways back to mystery..they have a c-ht511 fw, and a c-ht-411bk any thoughts on mystery?

I had the 511 in 15į with an Attas3 7s. Without a doubt the best feeling 3w head I've tried. Only ever gamed it from a tee, never off the deck for no other reason other than I never needed to.

Had both 511 and 411.

511 was good but for me feel goes to 411.
411 is better feeling with 455 steel.
411 is huge though.... like a mini driver.
511 was a fw with good balance.

Settled with Modart FWs for now.  Compact and shallow.

For Ti woods,   Crazy Full Titan an Jbeam GFW are two of the best performing Ti FWs at the moment in my opinion.  Have also heard good things about Proceed FW and Muziik FWs.
If you donít mind the fuss with shaft sleeves and sole plates and stuff,  Roddio FWs do perform well.

Have both the Mystery C-HT311 FD and Justick Ti Tour Spoon. The 311 for me is the better of the 2.

I predict Matt will super hoe again this season.  Besides the 705s you've been pretty quite...parts of your bag, Utes, wedges and fwys...putter as well have been settled for too long. I do not think the 705s will stay for you.  505s could kick the 705s out of my bag...hope to find out soon.  Would like to see you explore the wonderful world of graphite iron shafts m.  You're not getter mg any younger.  Maybe the tprx 2star i9?  They're kinda aerotechish but better...maybe fire express dgl100s, X flex.

Iím not sure Iím in love with them either, but I do play well with them. Weathers been shit since last fall (snowed four times first week of April) and have only played them a handful of times.

Havenít had great luck with the graphite iron shafts other than the Aerotech composites which work well for me. So I get gun shy about dropping big money on a set of shafts and build because the resale isnít what it used to be.

Maybe a nice set will pop up that interests me.
