STP Proto 100  was too stout.   Had no feel.   but it did go straighter than anything else I have tried.
I now have an STP85 iron shaft in my Hybrid.    Works well but still not the best feeling shaft.    It is highly anti left in my hybrid so that helps.

I know you tried the Kurokage TiNis  but  I am really enjoying them in my Mystery CBs.
They really do not have that hollow carbon feel at all.

I have not yet tried the OTi Tours but its one I'd like to try.

What about the good old MCIs? I have one on my 4 hybrid (bought it just for the head but ended up loving the setup so I didnít change) and always wanted to try it in the irons because I thought it is excellent.

Edit: sorry just read the topic title and saw you are not interested in MCIs. So just ignore my post.

I'll agree with Nob that the STP UT is not the best feeling shaft.  That said, for me, crazy has never been the best feeling shaft.  And like most crazy, these do play stiff to flex. What the STP UT is however, is an extremely stable and predictable shaft that at least against the basi alpha FW it replaced, launches slightly lower.  I have the stp ut 75 in both proceed Ti UT 21 and pxg ut 19.

As far as metal. Composite shafts, I'd suggest the fex if you want that metal fibre tip reinforcement. Mci nice feel but you don't want them, oti I didn't like and not a metal composite as well I think. Not too sure if the new basi bti is a metal Composite.  The biz is a boron.

Stick with the bangvoos H.  Youve got the best non steel iron shaft there.

Am thinking those might be the ticket, every basi I've had sticks...the ut and alpha fwy and driver shafts just flat work for me.  The "plastic feeling" comments on the biz scared me away but the new ones I'm looking at.

Biz feel is not plastic H,  very different to Roddio and Bangvoo though... Not for the better imo.

How would you compare them to the ut or alpha feel?

Try the ACCRA it is just not as popular cause no one really knows it. Very underrated. I just did a demo and really like the shaft. The feel is good and it perform very well. I like bangvoos as well but i find them a bit too light. Previously the only graphite iron shaft i ever like was the bangvoo recommended by Art. Now its the Accra and bangvoo. I have re order a brand new set of 303 and this time im fitting it with Accra instead of modus or bangvoo like before.

But with Accra u need to be professionally fitted.
