Kyoei mb
« on: October 23, 2017, 08:16:55 AM »
Just received the kyoei mb heads today. Thumbs up to Dale for the prompt delivery. Had a few hiccups during the transaction mainly due to my ignorance but thanks to Dale we managed to resolve it.

So, any of u tried this before? Anything to expect or any recommendation of shafts? Thinking of putting px in but afraid it might be too harsh....

PS: itís been a long time as I was trying to escape the clutches of jdm gear. But alas, thereís no escaping. their irons and wedges  are just a whole different level IMO.

Congrats!  Ive not hit these but being from KYOEI, they should be on the softer side.  I can;t comment on steel but if you're looking at graphite, then Bangvoo or FEX DG should be good.

I'm putting Shimada 115 in mine. I'm going with Stiff, but the R are nice and play firmer than most R, I find.

Dense is the right word and yes. They are very typical kyoei feel which I like. Soft yet powerful. Thatís the best way I know how to describe it.  ;D

I put in the modus 105 and itís definitely smooth. Heads are friendlier than I expected. Might be due to their leading edge grind. It looks different from normal beveled leading edge. After hitting these I feel like getting the yururi tataki muscle backs too. Damn! This will nvr stop will it? Lol
