Weekend of  golf by the sea. usually blows a treat down there but  sublime gentle conds this weekend, plays about 6800ish  off the back tees
lonnnnng par 3s.

ryoma d1 stinger driver and kamui pro tp07 diamana X 60x shaft in bag

never , ever,  driven the ball this well for 2 days,  never.
end of chat.
ryoma can draw the ball   and its a thing of absolute beauty was naling this thing like ive never nailed it before !!!!!
its my travel driver nowadays

kamui is a high ,all carry  draw  club  flight is awesome. use to for the high sloping par 4s .

ryoma  is  longer. kamui feels insane and  can work this a bit more without  a need for a 3 wood.
drove the last hole   dead straight  with the kamui , a 275 yard  par 4.  Ball  stopped back of green then  lipped out the  25 footer eagle to finish  the weekend with a bird  then half  a dozen beers on the train back to the bigsmoke

back issues finally gone.
no ill effects. putting was on.
irons were crisp and clean.

5 birds   sat ,   3 yesterday

no sore back today.

things have peeked  in Autumn

33/35,  and a 38(4 putt triple on the 2nd grrrrrr!!!)/36
68/74

drives were simply the best I have ever done  over two days, hardly missed  a beat.

GIR 15/18   14/18
FW: 14/14    13/14

That  kinda sheeeeeeet will   get me back next weekend  for sure!!!

Played a little 9 hole course in the area I cover for my job, on my lunch break....anyway, a 3 ball teed off just before me which really frustrated me as they're retired and I needed to hurry up, but to be fair they let me through on the 232yd par 3 third. Usually when I have an audience my swing goes to sh*t, but I smashed my 3i to 3 feet! Lovely little draw. Puffed my chest out, head held high as I walked past saying pleasantries to each other. One of the guys even clapped as I putted out for par (missed the birdie!). This game is great most of the time, but sometimes it's absolutely beautiful.

I agree. Itís those rare shots that make us feel PGA Tour talented that keep us from quitting. Thereís a term for it:  Fools Gold!

It's out there for you every single shot...just can't always find it..my round last Sunday was like one of disco stu's...just shorter...hit 14 fwys and struck my irons well.  Just funny stuff...couple bad bounces...2 3 putts...had a stretch where I birdied 3 of 5 w 2 tap in pars though...score was like 82or83...not so good but man those 5 holes were fun...when you're controlling your ball the game is so fun...

Doesn't Molly have nice legs?...she's a Brit...loves it over here...getting a degree in communications...she's got over 500 grass roots green card supporters...

Who wouldnt love been over there?
Who wouldnt love been a Brit either... all that History and the Ryder Cup☠️

You guys were smart to Brexit the euro economic meltdown...those itals, Spaniards and Greeks are going bust in the next 4 years....gonna get ugly I'm afraid...US will get a temporary bump from the capital flight but were not far behind the itals...brits will be better off than many of the euros...me thinks...I'm applying to be Sgt. Squirt's mog (half man half dog)....

Sometimes the game nourishes my soul..,that happened for me this weekend.  Came at a really good time as well...was kinda down after my grandfather passed.  Mrs free has been crazy lately...early onset menopause...anyway Mrs free took our 8 year old on a cub scout camping trip...I employed the greatest automated  babysitting robot ever invented (ipad) for my 12 year old and headed to the course...

Friday game is a big boy game...blues only $30 buy-in...blind draw best ball partner, net and skins...I won net, the best ball and 2 skins...can't even remember the round other then I remember getting to some places I'd never seen on a cold windy day...the Saturday game is for the sandbaggers...a net game...skins, $20 buy-in...free went a little overboard but still somehow managed to come in 2nd and pull down another skin...don't really remember much from then on.....a lot of 12 year single malt in honor of John Morrison...

I do remember today's game...the Sunday game is THE big boy game...$10 buy-in gross skins blues only...only shot an 80 but was one of the better rounds I've played...didn't make much and was searching for it the first few holes but found it on 3 and had nothing but tap in pars and a couple birdies...everyone got cut so I split the pot and also won my Nassau...

All in all I had a great time and left the course with a huge wad of cash and a warm feeling from all the scotch...I felt free all weekend...mrs free is home now and my anxiety is back...go figure...not feeling very free anymore...
