38 40 today on the toughest rated course in Singapore. Off white but I'll take it any day.  This course has kicked me hard in the nuts several times.

Putting us coming back..

ive  a game tomorrow  where  its a practice  round on pretty  rolling humpy  greens , love these ,can hit as  many balls as  I like.
going to take 4 absolutely  oppsiites  to se if one "stlye "makaes a stand out

seven anser 36 inch
miura blade 34 inch
centre shaft  maruman 32 inch
double  bend shaft  35 inch

there has GOT to be a  discernable difference here for sure for fks sakes!!!!

That is definitely a good representation of different putter types!!
This is a good idea actually.   I might bring two of my most extreme opposites out on Saturday as well.
Perhaps play the first half with one and the second half with the other.    Would make an interesting round!

As planned, I played my Benock Blue Dragon II and played the first 9 with it,  2 bogies and 3 birdies for a 35.  Something is really clicking with this putter all the sudden!
Perhaps I should have kept using it to go for my all time low ( my best ever is 72 on this same course ) ...
Back 9,  I stuck to the original plan and used the Benock EASPADE Type M mid mallet face balanced putter.  1 bogie for a 37.
Was not putting bad .. just not as good as the Blade.    Will be letting go of the mallet.

Another thing to note is that both rounds of my lowest ever 72 have been with the Shinagawa MB irons but with different shafts.  Monaco Stiff the last time and Modus 120 X this time.
Was flushing my iron shots the entire round.  Perhaps I just focus a bit more with the MBs?  Not sure.
Grandista RS-D driver was also shooting straight until I shot a big block to the right on the last hole.

14/18 GIR, 30 total putts, 13/14 fairways hit,  3/4 par 3 greens hit.

I need to try and keep it up!

Its really not fair that you have to go thru that, Ian.  I am so sorry.
I cant imagine how hard it must be.  Ive been on my wifes side during her treatment and all I could do was to try and keep her in a positive mood.  Thankfully, she has recovered and doing well.
Know that modern treatment and technology are improving constantly.

Stay strong for both Ian.  What Nob says about treatment advancement is very real and true.  My bro in law had some stage 4 cancer, with treatment and a change in lifestyle and diet, he's miraculously in the clear now.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

My wife has her 5th session (of 6 total) of chemotherapy this Tuesday. Knocks her for six for a week or so, recovers, then it starts all over again. Terrible to see her go through it but unfortunately it's necessary.

The combination of cancer and chemo is funny, in the sense that we have cells within us that, when triggered have the potential to kill us, we then give ourselves drugs to kill the cancer, which in turn lowers our immune system, which in turn could be fatal if we pick an infection.....which happened two weeks ago and fortunately my wife recovered after 2 days in hospital. 22% of women with breast cancer die in the UK per year. You don't think it'll happen to you but that certainly brought it home with a bang when that shit happened.

Radiotherapy after this......

Great round yesterday in  the wet zero wind ball was backspinning on the drive.  Lift clean cheat comditions/rules.
37witha double on the8th 1 bird 6 pars till then.. grrrrrrr,,,,,!,,!,!,!, then39 back nine bird cpl of bogies, driver was super , took the egg diamana x60x out and the roddio stuning diamana x 70s  as a driver duo ,very differnet drivers  both are superb drivers. Btw so tight, the roddio was high and a small draw . Thing of beauty egg was a straight hamer, not ideal yesterday too wet , its not high its  not low the roddio got a few more cheat meters with carry.
But the egg is longer for, sure   Fk i liked hitting the roddio!!
