Putter Shafts: What Are You Using?
« on: May 15, 2017, 09:51:39 AM »
I have a couple of putter heads that I'm going to have to shaft up and I'm in need of shaft recommendations.  In this case, the heads require taper tip shafts.  But I'm interested in hearing about your thoughts and experiences whether the shafts are taper, parallel, flared, etc.

NS Pro XXIP or the Muziik PT135.  The former has a softer feel.

Weight is totally different.   NS Pro is 136g or 149g vs UST FF is 106g

If you already have a good smooth stroke and just looking to improve feel at impact, UST might be a good one to try.
If you are trying to stabilize or slow down your stroke tempo,  the NS Pro Heavy shafts definitely help with that.

For me,  the UST was a bit too light.

I have just been trying the Dogatti 135 in an Anser style head.

Can agree with what Nob said-- it feels like you get a few more rolls out of it. Hard to explain, but after trying it I get what he meant now. Look forward to trying it more.
