I find............

dgs200... are good  heavier  performance shafts , they feel  heavy, dull and  lifeless. no noticeable kick point , lower launch , they   very workable  and  they flat out perform   well . BUT  they kill any feel in the heads. when u spend so much on nice feeling  irons  I have no idea why ud put dg in  quality heads unless ur a  pro ,  or just get some cast  pings where it don't matter a lick.
I say this bec ive hit the same heads with the NS shafts and the dg shafts and it was a huge difference in feel  no lack of performace , but the feel was so different.  the honma tw717m came with dgs200, I took them out of one set  nad put a set of ns 125s in , now these also arnt the nicest friendliest feeling hsafts either. but vs the dg it was life hitting a rock vs hitting "frozen butter" didn't take me one second to tug the dgs out of t he other set nad replace them with  a different ns shaft.

that's my taste..  il never say they don't work bec the yare the gold standard of streel shafts like the diamanaa blue original is the gold standrard of carbon. , id not play the  old B  anylonger when  theres a stinger, which is essentially the blue in boron.
sorry I like  feel nad I can get so much better feel out of  other shafts, same as the steel fibers, they are excellent to play, they wer ebetter than any of the new er shafts, but they killed my heads feel, why spoend thou on beautifgul forged heads when the shafts make them feel like 2buck heads form a used bin at the muni  sale bin ?

that's why I don't dig  DG ,  absolutely nothing to do with performance at all, its 100% about feel for me

Couldn't agree more.  I played dg for a few years and when I bought a set w nsp 999s I was like wtf, these clubs feel amazing!  I will say though that I had a set of idbl's that came with tour issue dg s200s and they felt really good, not sure why as I think they're the same as the retail just hand picked and matched for weight, etc.  but I don't really know, just read it in a post...

you can keep  all ur new irons bec there aint NO WAY they are any better than these two.
25-30 yrs apart maybe..
makes no freakin difference for feel

ns super peening blues in the cally quad  dots  and  ns  Dp In the  stx yammies.

those years and there is fk  all difference.

btw SP blue might be thebest shafts of all time   for the more genki ball strikiers  ,why did  they get rid of those!!!

That Honma is pretty!  I'm liking high toes and sharply sloping top lines these days.

can not  enjoy hitting the honams any more than I do. the 717m are my main set back home thesedays (ns125s) I  tend to  use  them more than anything else.
the rounder look makes it easier to see s diff shots as aposed tosay the miuraisms whci hare square and really good for point  shoot with a small c block cut bias, but I cant seem to see a draw with them.  pretty opposite to the honmas.. feel goes to the miuras  for sure.. but .(cant be im saying this...... ) I  think prefer the honams these days !

yup,  does indeed. esp the weight changes between  shafts one set im balanced and rhythmic, the lighter ones im swinging out of my shoes.. takes a few  shots to get rebalanced. going from the srixon dgs200 to the honma NSst isn't  really  a smooth transition, does make u concerntrate and think more tho.
