« on: October 23, 2015, 04:54:18 PM »

Anyone try these? Like yhe look of the 'nickel' one. My builder has the full range on demo so I'll give them a blast soon :)

Interesting. They've been behind the scenes of the golf shaft industry for quite some time, including manufacturing for Rapport. The Rapport Blue Velvet was one of my all time favourite shafts and had a nickel fibre tip. Didn't know Paderson had this pedigree.

Had a hit this weekend with the long drive version of the VMT shaft. Felt very smooth, stable and powerful. Not boardy at all. Has piqued my interest regarding the VMT standard shafts and the nickel fibre one.

Apparently the Paderson VMT LD shaft was used by 4 of the final 8 competitors in the recent World Long Drive Champs. (And as an aside, Sadlowski switched out his House of Forged shafts for a Crazy shaft).
