I've played Grafaloys, UST Mamiya Recoil F4, both OK but not to my liking .....but really looking forward to playing the Waccine GR-77 (85 gms) shafts either on my 303 heads or T-MBs.
If these don't work for me then I will revert back to steel for a while, probably the Modus 105.
Have you played the Waccine GR-77? If that is the case, what are your thoughts? Thanks for sharing.

You need some Fubuki's......

Has anyone played the MCI Black please? Do they play to flex, stiffer or softer? Thanks.

I have the MCI Blacks in my R1 CBs and love them!   I think they play right at flex.

The lighter weight on the long irons definitely help with launching the ball higher.
I used to always want a 4 iron replacement driving iron for the added launch ... but with these shafts, my 4 iron from the set launches just high.

Great write up, did anyone try the new Mitsubishi Thump Iron shaft?

Hopefully I'll get to try the Accra Tour with Ti-mesh in the tip section. I doubt my fitter will have the Thump though.

It's been a while since I played MCI, from memory they seemed slightly soft to my perception of a stock stiff 100 g premium carbon shaft but I could be fuzzy...

The P3s just got mci blacks 100s so will let you know...

Have some IIRC thoughts on the FEX shafts.  Have no experience with the newer gen fex shafts.

Hate to even think about all the time and money spent on carbon iron and wedge shafts over the years just to end up back in Nippon steel and enjoying my best iron play in recent memory. Luckily resale value is good. 😂

Yeah, I know a few who feel this way and many more who won't ever go back to steel.

Somehow NS Pro, however nice feeling, has never worked for my swing.  I tried to like the Modus 105 as well but I'm just so much more comfortable with graphite shafts.

Idk I have had varying levels of success with graphite irons shafts but inevitably move on. I really really really want graphite in all my clubs but the Modus 125 is just money for me.

The 105 is supposed to be a lighter version of same profile but I have absolutely hated it every time Iíve tried it. Doesnít make sense but canít argue with the results. Something about the 125 just fits my swing.

I also love the steel crazy branded KBS hybrid shaft in my RomaRo iBrid. That club has been money for me since receiving it.
