Think Callaway bought the company, then held on to the Apex name but sold the rights to Hogan to the guys that do Scor golf.

It's all in the Name?
If your not part of the Solution , then your part of the Problem!!

Pretty much.  Perry Ellis International owns the Ben Hogan name and make the apparel.  I can't recall if the equipment is a subsidiary or if the name is being licensed.  I think it's a sub.

OK, I can't figure it out.  I've tried to paste in the embed code from youtube, but no go.  I think there may be something that needs enabled in the editor.

Local shop had a set of these in stock with KBS in them. Hit a few with the 7i and 5i. Look nice. Very thin sole. Felt very nice on well struck shots. Seemed to be fairly easy to hit. I wouldn't mind a set of these at all.

I've been playing three of these irons for the past week or so as part of their demo program ($30 for a month to cover two-way shipping).  Aside from the Tour V shaft, which I find light, I like these quite a bit. The V sole is great.

Yes the sole is a more subtle version of what my Srixons have. I really think there's something to it in terms of helping ensure a crisp strike. It's function probably isn't as pronounced in such a thin sole as these, but still believe it should be effective nonetheless.

Last night in league after a stressful day of work and no warm up (showed up at club a bit late and everyone was waiting and ready to tee off) I was just a bit off with everything and never did really get much going.

But one thing I noticed with the irons was that I was hitting them a bit heavy and the soles were really bailing me out. Rather than sticking the club in the ground like I would have been with many club heads, they really kept the club "afloat" and my shots stayed on line and were just a bit short.

These feel pretty good and seem to play a bit bigger than they look.  I hit a small bucket with a guys hogans and I liked them.  Wouldn't buy them but they're a fun iron to hit.  Not forgiving but playable and they look good over the ball.
