I honestly think I'd get away with 10 clubs but .....

I could easily just take just 7 clubs with me at this 9 hole course. Obviously the more you play a certain course then you get to know what you can hit of each tee to leave you with x yards left in. When I play it next I'll take driver/5w/6i/8i/PW/SW/putter and see how that goes.

Earlier this year I walked 9 with friends at lunch and it was super hot so I just played Driver/ 18* UT/ 7 iron/ PW / LW and Putter. Shot a 38.

Played in league that evening with all 14 clubs and shot 39. 🤔

After chatting with nob-san about some Tourstage drivers, this is the one I went for;

Head - X-Drive 905, 9.5, 385cc.
Shaft - Fubuki j70x.
Static weight - 325g,
Length - 44".
Swing weight of C7.
GP tour wrap with 3 wraps low and 2 wraps high.

Had the head stripped and painted by Dave@extremepaint. Very cool, particularly in daylight.

Haaaarrrryyyyyy, thanks man. It looks lovely in the sunshine.

I was hitting it great yesterday, well, 3 out of 5 ain't bad! I thought I'd loose a fair bit of distance but oh no, it still gets out there no problem. Nice soft muted feel/sound.

Had a couple of 5g weights going spare, so I now have the head weight up at 207g. Perfect for a short build or long build?

I'd go to a more traditional length, Ian. 45" is perfect. Head is long enough that you don't need the extra length to create the speed. On the other hand this head is one of the straightest heads out there that you don't need to short of a built to control it. Best of both worlds (control and length).
Just my 2 cents.
Driver: Callaway Epic Subzero
3FW: Kamui TP-XF
3 and 4 ute: Romaro I-brid Chapter2
5-PW: PRGR RS Forged
GW: 50* CGS Orion Spy Type S
SW: 56 Ping Glide 3.0
LW: 60 Ping Glide 3.0
Putter: Yes! Tracy 2
