Took the F358 out for 18.  Hit 3 shots with it. First was a real charm and surprising charm and that would have been the first time I've used any FW on a golf course for maybe more than 3 years.  Of the deck, went about 190 meters approx.  210 yards.  Woohoo!  Second shot, on a par 5... still not fully confident of my ability to hit a FW, stood too close at address, tried to compensate on the downswing, toed it and it went right into the water LOL.  Then on a 200 yard head wind par 3, pushed it 20 yards right target..

But what I am really wondering... for that round where I shot 82 which is my handicap despite that bad shot into the water and the bad par 3 tee shot, I used it all of 3 times of which twice it did me no good or little good... what on earth did I bother buying this nice compact FW and drop some more coin on a not so cheap Crazy FW80 for...

Well its here and since the coin has been dropped and I do find the RD 70 a tad stiff, I'll put in the FW80.  Sigh.. the trials and tribulations of a club hoe.

I've never built using a bore through head, so the 6.9 might play stiffer than you're used to...

I had that concern too but I measured the depth of the f358 bore through and it's about the same depth as a normal non bore through.  Shaft should be here in a couple of hours and will have this done on Friday.  If it's deeper, there is the option of a non full insertion like how it was done on the titty drivers before.

Am also using a 3w 6.9 for this so if the fw80 does indeed need tipping, it should play softer in the f358 5w as I am not tipping it..... I think.

S,

Just got in the FW80 6.9 and just flexing it, I think it's a tad stout for me.  Just ordered a Basileus Fiamma FW65 for the F358.

Anyone wanna buy a Crazy FW80 6.9 shaft?  PM me.
