No golf as I was mentally burnt out. Swing chaos thoughts and equipment
Overload got the better of me. Took a hiatus that I'm so glad I took now I'm back
With confidence and a improved swing. 703s are very helpful in this stage of golf.
No more egos! My wedges are all ping that worked. 3w -5i. Haha

Good for you, I bet mrs c was happy to have you home a little more.  I've been there mentally...I just didn't want to be in my own home and the golf course was the only valid reason to leave.playing here in 1/2 hour for the 1st time in over 3 weeks n/c of the overboard accident...I feel like a kid right now.

well bag has changed but one thing that hasn't is the irons 703s living the life and
am enjoying my irons a game. was tempted to shift to p2 but dropped that pipe dream
in favour of better golf.

have had a multitude of drivers since january, ZY-11, 105, 435 BLACK, and most recently a grandista which i
am waiting to hit. have paired her with a matching evo2 shaft.

well i just got my old Epon 105 back and reshafted her with a diamana S+. ball flight is more stable with this shaft Vs the ajapa matrix which i found a tad soft. i currently rotate between this one and ajapa matrix ALTHOUGH i am loving the epon more due to its non adjustable nature and softer face. ajapa and epon seem to be at par while the ajapa certainly gets more height and roll. distance ----ajapa, forgiveness------same, feel---------epon

also reshafted my 703 FROM nspro 950 into modus 2g18 proto which is the modus 130. nothing really i just wanted to change haha. the modus 130 is my far my favourite nippon shaft, love the feel and kick, actually gained half a club moving up to 130. its been 1 year since i last gamed these in the 303 so i soft stepped 1x and wow what a difference, nice and high and a flat carry that lands soft.

only thing left to talk about are the tour wedges in 50/56/60. i opted for modus 125 iron iron shaft 8i to be exact in the wedges, wanted a different shaft than the wedge shafts as i did not enjoy those at all will post feedback and pics soon as global release date is close at hand.

and a blast from the past my 9 year old Gfield leap M is in the bag yet again. one of the best retro mallets i have owned.these were el primo at the time and more so now than ever. you guys should go back to your JDM roots and try to snag some g-filed putters. basically Sasaya designed and tuned lol

There is a gap BUT I can hit the 5i around 190-195
And my ryoma 215-220. I don't see myself in many situations
Wherein I need to attack a green from 200-215 so I dint think
Much of It. I used to have my gaps covered to an OC level now
I just choose them

Another tremendous bag c, always interesting but looks like you're going for scores which has been fun for me as well.  Those ryoma utes are big ugly brutes but they're so long and forgiving I just can't kick me out....

I'm very interested in your thoughts on the tour wedges.  Are they as forgiving as the 213?  What's the feel and spin like in comparison?

well shit the quadras had 2-3 range sessions and two rounds before i decided they weren't for me.
the feel was superb, everything was ok except i found that i tended to thin shots with it more than
anything. wasn't the weight, or swing weight as thats been sorted via building don't know what it
was to be honest. rather than adapt to it i went back to my modus default shafts.

this time went modus 105 stiff! 5-pw

New for December. Going for forgiveness and what's in my bag
Iron wise and wedges putter are close to perfect for now.  I've had
The 703s for a long long time now and am settling down with the modus
105. By far my favorite shafts.

Dropped the 50* tour wedge in favor of a 48 to close the gap between
My pw. Also did a fitting which I haven't done with these irons and I'm 2*
Upright and around 1.5* with the wedges. Nothing wrong with the old setup but
I had a consistent fade now I have a straight ball to draw. Don't know if this is the swing
Or the lie change or a combo of both but will play a couple of rounds to gauge results

Best thing I could have done was reshaft the mystery from UT100 into a GDut70
It's night and day and the combo is now super friendly. Loving it so far. The fex ut100
Ended up in my 903 23 playing at 39.5 D7. It's longer than standard spec by .5-.75 but
Did not butt trim as I wanted to test combo. It's well suited much more than the original
Modus 105. Got the height back

Only thing aside from the driver front is the 4w. Not liking the b80s. Might go back to a 70gram FW shaft. No driver for now.

I'd play that set any day!  Brilliant shuffling ther, I love it when components from good clubs are swapped to make great...

The forgiveness rout is a blast...makes playing well and getting drunk so much easier!  Even though I'm loving the P3 I really miss the 703.  It's such a great head in many ways...

Ok so I reshafted my super egg with another shaft having tried 4 different shafts
Was about to junk the combo until I tried this shaft. Other previous shafts you would
Have to alter swing tempo etc just to make the club work. With this shaft you can just swing normal
And he ball just pops. Forgot how good these shafts are. This is my first dedicated fire express FW shaft.

Head was so light had to add around 15-18 grams of lead tape on the channels. No worries if I need to remove the tape for aesthetic reasons il bore the hosel and insert some weights for a cleaner look

I'm going to re-shaft my old trusty Yamaha 405D. this was the driver i was using back in 2007 when i first started playing golf.
its probably the oldest club in my arsenal and wisely haven't even contemplated selling. I've had monster drives with this little
puppy and probably need all the carry now that i play in a tight course that puts a premium on being in the fairway.

am shafting her with a DOA MY65 shaft.
will duke it out with a tm BURNER TP old school w CB 50 7.7

i also officially am pulling my super egg spoon from my bag. its great off the tee but i prefer my FD driver 12.8 as an alternate driver.
from the fairway its a beast but a bit too long for my home course where all it takes is 18* ute. the bag is yet going to change.

will be getting a Gfield 4w 17* which is surprisingly the same head i used in conjunction with my yamaha 405d when i was starting out. unfortunately like
all my clubs sold them a long time ago.
