Epon 103 is the best looking and feeling driver. However, Jbeam are longer but sadly not up to the Epin 103 in terms of looks and outright length.

For me, it's about a Total combo
Yes you need feel but  the driver needs to perform... And Epon are lacking in Distance

I think I started a thread here or maybe there in the past suggesting that Epon may be sacrificing performance (distance) for feel... at least now I know I ain;t alone in this school of thought.... even though its coming from Dale.... ;D

I think the 103 in particular was short. Don't have experience with the older 10x models. Pervy has had the 153 for a couple seasons and it flat gets out there. The zero wasn't short by any means either.

Have a chance to buy V202 for cheap - should I pull the trigger? Any feedback?

Absolutely, can't do anything wrong with older Yamaha drivers. And they are cheap.

With a good price, you definitely cannot deny it

Interesting…  I have a non-Tour V202 which I've only played 1-2 rounds with, and a 2014 RMX Tourmodel on it's way.  Will do a side-by-side comparison in a couple of weeks.

I've only recently started dabbling with Yamaha equipment. The V202 Tour is magnificent. Just picked up a v203 tour with Diamana B 70S for $170 off yaj! How do the non tour models differ other than size? Little more forgiving?

V202 is such a good solid driver. I've cut mine down to 44.25" from 46" standard and it has messed with the swing weight a bit. Think i may need to switch the shaft (or get the lead tape out).

Original or the RPM model? I preferred the RPM.

Can't decide which I prefer between the V201 Tour/V440/V425 Tour....

I didn't get on with the V203. Gamed the V202 Tour and it was just ok for me. All great heads from this era.
