Was finally able to find a set of PRGR RS Tour wedges to complete my PRGR set up.  Will post a WITB on that shortly.

The wedges look and feel great.  They do have a hint of gooseneck at the hosel/topline transition.  Not a deal breaker, but just enough to know that gooseneck is still alive in JDM land.  I just don't understand why any manufacturer would even consider modern iron and wedge designs with any amount of gooseneck, but that's what Stu's been wondering for ages.  In any case they perform well and fits nicely with the IDBL irons.

Haven't picked up much lately. Just a PRGR RS 02 driver and a RC BBD V7 Ti U4 to rotate into the bag every now and again. Really got my eyes on a Royal Collection Ti 14° Fwy. Equipment purchasing has been lacking this year.

RC fwys and Utes don't get their due IMO...the tour V7 and regular V7's are just real solid...RC has always made great fwys and Utes IMO...the buddy I played with today still has my old 20&23* TRC's with GD TADUT 75s...hit them a bit...just like riding a bike, as good as any of the new stuff and better than most of it...

Just picked up a new Diamana DF 50R on YJA to be mated to a Grandprix One Minute 11.5 head.  Haven't play a white board for the longest time or when I was younger.  Hopefully with a 11.5 loft, the launch would be fine for a mid high kick shaft.

 made a  cpl of nice putts with it yesterday was 32 inch getting it  extended to 34   
very distinct  feel , soon as  a I picked it up I said   yup this has to be in the quiver .

I have a new favorite putter shaft.    Benock putters all come standard with Shimada stepless 120g shafts model NSTP-120 and they feel awesome....  I wasn't sure if it was the head or the shaft so I wanted to try the same shafts in my other putters.    They are like 900 yen a pop from Rakuten.  I put them in my Gold's in place of the Dogatti and man it feels so much better!    I think the Dogatti was a touch too heavy.    I also had a few extra Prosoft inserts that I had and so I put them in all my putters along with the Shimada shafts.   Subtle but noticeable difference!  It's similar to how the Frequency Filter shafts work.  Takes out the unwanted vibration at impact.   Makes it easier to feel if I hit the sweet spot or not.   I really like the clean look of the stepless steel too!!

Can you compare the Shimada putter shaft to Nippon putter shafts? I like the XXIP-A2 a lot but I also like the Shimada Tour Wedge shafts better than their Nippon counterparts.

I'm pretty sure steel putter shafts are all pretty similar.    Nippon putter shafts are more than double from a price wise....
And they don't come in the weight range I was looking for.   (120g)   

Comparing the XXIP-B2 (149g) to the Shimada NSTP-120, the Shimadas feel a bit more lively and stiffer.
XXIP B2 feels a bit milder at impact. Perhaps the heavier weight and thicker wall of the shaft masks the impact vibration a bit.

I like milder feel with my iron shafts but with putters I prefer something more direct & sharp feeling with good feedback.
