Post OG PRGR Egg Spoons
« on: May 26, 2020, 10:54:03 PM »
I’m really struggling with FW this season and it got me thinking about the old Eggs that were automatic. I tried one of the subsequent models it wasn’t the HD maybe the 2014? And didn’t much care for it. It launched low for me.

Anyone played the Egg HD before? Can be had for peanuts on Yaj.

Yeah... its the only FW I  managed to hit well some of the time and that's saying a lot.  I think mine was the second gen with the huge scoop out.  Expect feel and sound to be crap though.

I like the look of the 2015 model. Looks to be the last one with the scoop out of the back. The original model in a 9w (22°) was super long, felt good but did sound a little weird. Had it with a blueboard 83x. The 2nd model (16.5°) was a bit hooky for me, but sounded better. Had it with a fw80 stiff.

Had the original titanium egg spoon. Super easy to launch and long. Felt not good and sounded even worse though. Performance was good.
