Super low launch and spin shaft
« on: June 17, 2013, 10:38:53 AM »
I really want to try the Ryoma with a super low shaft just to see what it can do. Also don't feel like spending a ton on it either. Thoughts? Suggestions?

do give the 80gram shafts a go. they play differently from their 7 series siblngs.
i had a di8s in my 380cc driver and it was anything but LOOOW. the bb8 will even
be lower.

if your looking for a runner with the maxima cannot go wrong with the fex WBmax

graphite deisgn bb  8s is a GOOD choice at a short length  as is  the p9003x ive got tha tset up and its brillinat.
if u want something a littel lighter then the 2  lowest skippers i canthink of are the diamana ahina.. and  the attas red thing.  there is one crayz that also pops otmind the crazy  black LS II......... i took that to hawaii a cplof years back in a a jbeam 425 tour head and the ball didnt get above head high. great if uve got fat fairways with some slope for run.  but htese hsafts are very hard ot come by.

the ahinai  hink or the BB will set u straight

but personally the p9003x is my beast.

Before league last night I hit the XV and RomaRo and Ryoma each 6-8 times and despite it being so high I was hitting it dead straight so I figured it wouldn't hurt me being as there was no wind last night. Had a great driving round and drove the green all carry on a short par 4. Ball flight is so odd...the ball seems to go out and then halfway to target it will balloon up...yet the flight of it doesn't seem spinny or weak when it does this climb its very strong and seems to carry long. Doesn't matter if I use a 2 piece distance ball or prov1x its pretty much the same.  Haven't had the chance to have someone else hit it yet here locally to see what happens with it.

As you are talking about 3 heads in a low launch shaft thread, which head are you describing the second rising of the ball with?

Sure once he answered the question for you and had since described the behavior in multiple threads directly naming the head. It is very easy, even for you Ian.
