nobwas,

you probably have the most time with the rs-d, i know you mention the draw bias, but there is the ability to tweak it slightly. do you think it would be possible to set this head up for even the slightest of fade? i am anti left, and prefer to hit a power fade off the tee with a driver even when the shot does not necessarily call for it, so would it be possible to set this head up for at least neutral to slight fade or full fade?

secondly the face angle on these are pretty much square correct? not like a jbeam/crazy 435 where u can get a -2 open head.

finally, what is the face depth like on the rs-d compared to the jbeam/crazy crz-435 i know nothing really compares to the deepness of the baldo 568 competizion or the new blado ttx both in 420cc those are massive deep and really my preference, but...

yea.........
im not a fan of  the smooth feel and look, it  doesn't suit my  eye.
I much prefer a grainy  feel on putters  or a leather rib  , something the fingers can latch onto, that's why I left the ping pistolero.
love the shape but didn't like the smooth feel.
or a rectangular shape.

good topic!!

for me , flexability and a bit of explosive power goes a long way to consistant distance,  I don't think ive lost much distance at all over the last few years, I, ive prob not gained any but my consistencey has been   a strength. its not often  I get a dribbler  or a dispersion of 30 yards  on drives... good clubs also helps!!!!

Im a consistant  trainer so I  make sure I do a fair few rotational exercises, strengthening and stretching  the glutes and  a  LOT  of hip/groin  lower back work............

a lot.

I don't bother so much with lifting heavy things and more , no point  for me it doesn't aid as much as other modalities for what I like to do sports nowadays  the   simple  things like sets of
wallsits.
burpees.
hang times.
lunges.
rowing machine.
swimming.. a LOT of swimming..
and a heap of stretching I think is more allined to my wa these days to help keep the    bod clean from injury.

I used to be a ninja and swordsman of  some note when I was young, I keep up the sword play up  and my   hatori hanso katana is still in its  scabbard, razor sharp  in case of intruder.
being a great swordsman doesn't do ur core  much harm.

getting old aint for pussies.

Er......played 18 today. Par 5 13th is 512yds. I had a 9i left in from 162yds, or was it 152yds, either or it was a fookin mahoosive drive. Fairways are bone dry and rock hard though..............

"5 on the low side" ... I might need to try that!

Still less than half of what Bubba has under his grips..   13 and 11 or something crazy like that!!   He must have ginormous hands..
