Hello

After a great fitting and test day , I know that drivers are not made for me ... but letís go back few hours ago .
Iím an average player, hcp 16 and I never made it to play properly a driver, so I never played one .
Since I took many lessons the last months and since my game really improve, i decided it was time to really give it a try .
After buying some beauties , Iím ending up with 3 drivers
Ryoma + crazy proto : nice but nothing for me, the shaft is not mine
A-Grind + quadra fex : great and easy
New ryoma + beyond power : stupidly easy to hit .

But there is 2 problems
- iím not confident enough with driver
- on the best shots , iím getting 10-15 meters more than my trustful ryoma f5 .

So itís not worth it to risk problem just to get 15 m .

I went today for a special test and fitting and the result is easy , my driving swing speed is not powerful enough compare to my wood speed to get a good difference.

My question is easy , what would be the solution ?
- 2 wood : had one and it was too difficult
- mini driver ?
- fairway driver ?

Give me your opinion

Thanks

Stephane

Nice find. Just looked at their products but they look very busy in the back. Not my taste.

My thoughts too.. I'm ok with busy but the design factor here doesn't suit my eye.

Japanese Golf Gear / Takumi Japan (Kyoei)

Just saw that a Japan LPGA player is using their wedges. Some new brand of Kyoei ...
Had a look at their web page which they even have an English version:
https://tajapan.com/en/

Their irons, wedges look good (the one wedge looking somewhat prgr tune wedge not so). the putter and the TJ branding itself is not my taste.

Their facebook page is what is really interesting as you can see a lot of videos on the production (forging) process.
