Japanese Golf Gear / PRGR Egg 1 Driver
« Last post by MBBG on Today at 09:52:45 AM »
Iím pretty darn impressed with this unit even in stock form. Sound and feel are top notch, sets up nice, is quite long. I also noticed that like the Egg 7 it has a flatter face and I donít get near the gear effect on toe misses that I do with say the G400 LS. So instead of getting a big toe hook itís more of a controllable draw. That saves me shots on our home track where a lot of the trouble is left.

The stock shaft is 46Ē which is probably a little too long. I am considering cutting it down to 45.25Ē and adding some lead tape or something to it. And it sits pretty upright (61*) but doesnít seem to be hook prone.

Yes I'm kinda lucky. It compensates my lack of time to play on the course...

They are accurate if calibrated properly with the range own balls. I compared with trackman on my pro bay

Both my range have this technology for at least 2 years now.
You can even play virtual golf now as well.

Looks good Tom. Wish I had something like that close to home.

Would love to see the big cat get a W. But I'd also like to see Fowler break through.

Not sure which model I tried.  It had the tour ad mt6 shaft.  Super high launch and draw hook machine.  I'm a straight or fade guy.... Most times...

Hmm 2 strikes!!  Maybe itís no good... :)

Nobs  ive hit em inside   and personally thought they were like golf sticks someone who wears too  tight shorts and tshirts they bought in osh kosh  and sports a many machado haircut  wud use..
no discernable anything what so ever except they look awful  and really exxy  that awful shop on geihn higashi dori has them for a mint.
cudnt stand looking at them for a second  BUT  had to waggle them and hit  the putters .
( then washed my hands, was a kin  to touching  taylor made )

no idea who these are aimed at. really...  I  think they had something to do with kamui at one stage , if so , then the quality is good but the price was insane

Thanks.   Yeah,  the first Driver model JB501 says itís made by Kamui.
So quality should be good.   One of their staff players in the LD competition recently won a national title using one of their newer drivers.
One of my favorite blog shops in Hamamatsu which used to do the best looking Custom Mizuno irons turned into a Jean Baptiste house in the last couple of years.   This Mizzy Guru guy for sure knows quality.  And it just makes me wonder if JB stuff are actually good.
