Title: Dexterity and Shaft Performance
Post by: wmclarenf1 on August 13, 2019, 04:39:15 AM
If a right handed golfer uses a shaft previously played by a left handed golfer, will the shaft play differently?  I'm coming from the pov that the shaft bends repeatedly in one manner for the left handed golfer and assuming its installed the same way (say spine at 12 o'clock) in the club for the right handed golfer, will it bend in a different manner for the righty?

Any thoughts/experiences?

Doubt there's any problem. I swing quite aggressively on my back swing, nearly as much as on my downswing so I think the shaft would play just the same for a lefty using one of my shafts.

Look at tennis players. Does the racket react differently on their back hand shot compared to their forearm shot.....
