Haha i thought no one would ever ask. I had a 70s earmarked for my 3w but i found that it would be an expensive experiment and too low for my needs. I wuickly dropped that idea and am goingbfor the diamana thump fw shaft

Nob man that yonex 5w with your tipped 7x nearly broke my back, many worms were
Sacrificed that day  :(

Oh, it wasn't that stiff!! :)
Just different swings....   I hit everything high....  that maybe why I was able to play it comfortably.

Regarding Thump FW, Based on the trajectory of Thump Hybrid shafts, I have a feeling it would generally be lower launching in comparison to  Dia X ....

I've heard they've started a not-for-profit to resurrect the worm population at your club after that experiment

Matter of fact I have--yam IFF x 70x tipped a half inch.  Beastly off the tee--no shot for me off the deck.  Selling it.

No I'm not Lt. Skid marks.

Not even that strong for an average joe.  Found out recently that my gorgeous natural push draw (sarcastic) is what happens when you have a 15!degree in to out takeaway path and then don't come over the top but rather come through in a similar manner...and then you combine that swing with ultra stout shafts.  Otherwise, snap hooks all day.  So I found a bandaid for a swing flaw, but my SS is in no way appropriate for this shaft.

That being said, someone with a driver SS of 115+ could easily handle the X in a wood.  With the right head,it would e a cannon from anywhere.

I have. Really good. Z9003 is also very good in my opinion. It won't stop on a proper green, so you can forget par 5s in 2 unless you let it roll, (or if you're Mr Squirts, Par 4's in one)
But flight is very nice and great distance.
